What is an MCP server?

Can my AI agent send real notifications?

Yes, but safely. Test sends go through the sandbox environment. Your agent can inspect events, inspect templates, trace notifications, and manage integrations across all channels.

Is the MCP server free?

Yes. The MCP server is free to install and use. You only pay for notifications sent through your Sendivent account based on your plan.

How is this different from using the API directly?

The MCP server gives your AI agent conversational access to Sendivent. Instead of writing API calls, you describe what you want in natural language and your agent handles the rest.
